Voice Recording Studio
The recording booth at voiceover.bg is internal, measuring 2m x 2.1m x 2.7m. All walls are covered with sound-absorbing panels. There’s a ventilation air tube in the ceiling to regulate internal pressure. The door is not covered with panels, but the floor is. A window to the monitoring room is situated behind the narrator. The microphone is positioned in a corner, at a distance of 1/3 of the diagonal.
Rode NT1-A Microphone
This is a large diaphragm microphone, part of the Rode family since 1995. It has a 10-year manufacturer warranty, a frequency response of 20 – 20,000 Hz, a sound pressure level up to 137 dB, and 100 Ohm output impedance.
dbx® 286s Microphone Pre-amp Processor
This processor provides +48V phantom power and an 80Hz high-pass filter to remove low-frequency hum. It includes a Channel Strip Processor for vocal performance, De-esser, Enhancer, and Expander/Gate.
E-MU Tracker Pre
Features CurrentMorph circuit design, offering +48V phantom power and using only USB bus power. It supports 24-bit/192kHz A/D and D/A converters, producing clear sound with low noise levels. Performance metrics include a Noise level of -96.4 dB (A), THD + Noise of -88.4 dB (A), and IMD + Noise of 0.0047%.
Recording Samples
All voice recordings are provided in 32 bit, 48 000 sample rate, mono files. They can be uncompressed WAV 32 float normalised type 4 or any other according the requirements and the agreement for delivery.
